The Brick Situation
Thursday, June 14th, 2007So about a year ago, St. Jude’s Hospital for sick children held a fundraiser. They were building this new courtyard where the ground is lined with bricks. For $750, you could have a single brick inscribed with whatever you wanted. So I went on my forums to see if my fans could scrape together the cash to inscribe a brick with the name Brick Tamland, the wacky sidekick in Anchorman.
We needed $750, we raised over $2,000.So we bought three bricks. Just now they’ve gotten the courtyard completed, and one of the guys on my forum made a special trip down to take some pictures:
