Really with a little thought it makes sense. Really you put a thousand in one place alone your going to have a high volatility collision at some point, air planes got a planned flight path and they are trying desperately to keep them from colliding... Also rush hour there would be like a million of them. The fact people are paranoid as hell, I mean like how air force one pulled some crap a few months back with New York alone is a good example. The fact that your it would be hell trying to avoid hitting a building if they let them in city limits ( which they don't). Picture it for a second, like a hundred of these flying in a confined space... Also it seems take off would cause some sorta damage to land lines, sorta a small detail but eh still thousands of dollars worth of damage... The flying car will never be put on the market. Money (lack of) kills progress, the ingredients are there but we probably can't have them for all the money we'll make the rest of our lives. It is available but costs roughly 115,000 but still pretty cheap next to 500,000. Sadly you need a pilots license to fly it though... but you can drive it without flying and it gets better mileage in the air or on the road than most cars do.
