Black Men are after our women: Vogue

Tuesday, April 1st, 2008

So the April 2008 issue of Vogue has recently hit newsstands, which marks the beginning of a new regular feature here on Cracked where we’ll examine each month’s issue of Vogue: All up in Vogue’s Crack: An Analysis and Discourse. Which, if we read our webstats correctly, is exactly what our audience (pale men, ages 18-35) is looking for.

Haha. That’s just a little April Fool’s day joke for you there. I felt it necessary to at least make a token gesture to this, the funniest day of the year, but didn’t want to go overboard on the April’s Fool day stuff. Which is why you were spared an Onion-esque “Obama names Morgan Freeman as running mate” headline or the obvious “Anti-Christ Returns” joke. You’re welcome.

Awesome Video Of The Day

Shirley Q. Liquor Goes To K-Mark

WARNING: Today’s video IS not FUNNY in any way, shape or form. It portrays hurtful racist stereotypes, and although it does so in an entertaining voice I can assure that it IS not FUNNY. I can’t speak for my fellow bloggers (I’m pretty sure that Swaim is a card-carrying Klan member), but I can tell you that I personally DOn’t THINK THIS VIDEO IS FUNNY.

Okay? Okay.

Shirley Q. Liquor is a character that was created by Chuck Knipp, a drag comedian who is also an ordained chaplain, registered nurse, and active member of the ACLU and Libertarian Party. On top of all this, he somehow manages to find the time to caricature southern black women and put it up on YouTube. Impressive!

His live performances have been protested several times, apparently, but I can’t figure out why. Maybe they’re picketed by people who hate the ACLU, or people who really hate drag comedians. Or maybe it has something to do with the fact that he PERFORMS IN BLACKFACE. I don’t know. People can be so touchy.

While his critics call him a bigot, Knipp defends himself by saying he’s “lancing the boil of institutionalized racism.” I know I’m playing with fire by putting this question forward, but here goes nothing: What do YOU think?

Anne Coulter Defends use of term “Camel Jockey”

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

On a recent episode of reality-based sitcom “The Hannity and Colmes variety Hour”, sideshow freak and sometime scribbler Anne Coulter defended her use of the term ‘Camel Jockeys’ to refer to Arabs.
Colmes: When you refer to an entire ethnicity as camel jockeys, it sounds bigoted,”
Coulter: Yes, and it’s so mean after they killed 3,000 Americans, and I shouldn’t be mean to them. We have sure moved away from the day when we called them Krauts and Nips.”

Leaving aside for a moment the fact that by this logic, Coulter is a ‘slave Owner’ one should hardly be surprised at this point. In the same interview, she used the terms ‘Tent merchants’ and ‘Jihad Monkeys’.

If ‘surprise’ is out where Coulter is concerned, certainly we should no longer be ‘shocked’ by anything this ‘hate peddling transgendered dude’ has to say.

Anne Coulter

I suppose that’s ‘mean’, but its common knowledge the ‘psychotic neo Nazi post-op’ has an Adam’s apple and there’s some speculation she has a jar of formaldehyde in which she keeps a ‘souvenir’

Poor Anne. It’s only a matter of time before simple racist name-calling won’t be enough to get her on TV. One can only speculate what the ‘hideous, scarecrow-like, human sized weasel fetus in a wig’ will need to do to get our attention.
