Resident Evil wasn’t bad for what they had. I mean, what, are we supposed to watch a blonde run around grabbing weird keys and solving emblem puzzles for 2 hours? I already did that and got a rocket launcher with infinite ammo, so maybe.

I love the Sims 2 game and I’m planning to buy Sims 3, so I think the movie would be good. Maybe. I don’t know how they’re thinking of making a movie out of it, but I’ll definitely watch it.

Resident Evil was awesome. More importantly, Milla Jovovich was awesome. Video games with stories can make good/decent movies.

@ Erinthebitch: I agree but I wouldn’t call SATC a good film either. One thing that is incorrect is the notion in this article that it is one of the “worst representations of women in modern culture.” Really? Where did that idea come from? I would say, aside from the fact that Carrie is living in a habitable apartment in New York alone on a writer’s salary, that they behave like quite a few women I know.

Swaim stole that Chairman of the Bored joke from Norm MacDonald. He did it on Conan one night when Courtney Thorne-Smith was on promoting the movie. He killed it that night. Swaim should apologize to Norm immediately.

Well…you don’t have to worry about the number of dots on Krillin’s head…he wasn’t even included in the movie. The only part of the whole movie that stayed faithful was the names of the characters.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention the Cowboy Bebop movie…staring Keanu Reeves as Spike (PUKE!!!)
