Sure, if you want to designate yourself by continent, you are Americans.

If you want to designate yourself by country, only the United States has bothered to include “America” in its name. Sorry, but it’s logical. Getting butthurt over it is, indeed, stupid. Just because other people get angry about it doesn’t make it injustice.

Actually, I know a lot of people who think that North American’s (Unitedstatians?) habit of calling themselves Americans is quite offensive.

Technically, every single person from Canada to Tierra del Fuego (Argentina) is American.

I do grant you that other adjective could be unpractical, but it’s the pride in calling yourselves Americans that annoys us the most.

It’s not “absolutely nothing”.

way to get offended over absolutely nothing. seriously if you are going to take something like calling a character captain america to heart then you definately have some SEVERE personal issues.

at least for an alternate for kucinich, i would have put Topher Grace, or Eric Foreman from that 70’s Show. He had a hot redhead girlfriend who was way out of his league, and was really clumsy/awkward. Honestly, he reminds me more of Peter Parker than kucinich does.
