Zoos are more of a homeless shelter for animals because either 1) they are not able to survive in the wild because they have a deformity or sickness and 2) their mama's were hurt by meany poachers. So taking your kids to these zoos is what helps to pay for the costs of keeping the animals healthy and safe. Have you ever seen an animal that was sick in a zoo and was not getting constant medical treatment? I didn't think so.
