Sarah, Hannah and a Toilet Paper Simulator: The Daily Nooner (EST)!

by Ross Wolinsky

Awesome Video Of The Day

Sarah And Hannah Had A Sad, Sad New Year’s Eve

It might be sad to think about these two girls all alone on New Year’s Eve, singing their little song and dancing around an empty living room, but I have a feeling that things are going to change for these two after this video starts making the rounds at their junior high. I’m sure that as soon as their peers hear their clever lyrics (not to mention their lovely singing voices) and see their amazing choreography the party invitations are going to come rolling in. Soon they’ll be at all the coolest parties, playing crazy games like Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego? and “Carry The Rice Grains Across The Room On A Butter Knife” every weekend. Things will be more relaxed during the week, though: they might go over to one of the cool kids’ houses after school and watch a popular afternoon sitcom like Saved By The Bell or Growing Pains. Then they’ll head down to the mall to buy Hypercolor shirts and Paula Abdul CDs, grab some pizza at McDonalds and call it a day.

I’m pretty sure this video is going to make these two the most popular girls in their school. Trust me - I know what the kids are into these days.

(Yet Another) Wildcard Week!!!

PAPERTOILET.COM

I was going to say this weird website was cool for a minute. It’s a toilet paper roll simulator - which is pretty much the most useless thing I can think of - but I thought its pointlessness was kind of awesome, a good representation of everything that’s great about the internet. Then I found out that it’s a “piece” by an artist named Rafael Rozendaal who makes all kinds of other weird internet art, like jellotime.com and flamingcursor.com.

Now I just feel like I got tricked into liking art.

I still like this toilet paper roll simulator, though. So much so that I unrolled the entire thing just to see what would happen. I’m not going to spoil it for you, but I will say that it’s a little bit disappointing.

It IS art, though. Maybe I just don’t “get it.”

I suggest youtube enstate a new feature: votes to get videos kicked off of youtube. Vote for or against; +1 and -1 respectively. If the vote reaches negative 100, that video is removed.

The fact that video has only 21 views and I’m one of them makes me want to cry.

  2. Gladstone Says:

    Prodigal son returns ‘eh?
Well screw you. We need Nooner EVERY DAY DAMN DAY!

    love

    the fickle public.

  3. Ross Wolinsky Says:

    Dear Fickle Public,

    Suck it.

  4. Rory Says:

    Dear Internet,
I am offering a cash prize of 1 U.S. dollar, or a gift certificate for a five minute back rub to the first internet user that can present me with definative proof of which fine educational institution these burgeoning stars attend.

  5. Bacalao Says:

Damn you, Ross Wolinsky. You always post the saddest videos, revealing how much we REALLY need to progress. Damn… we’re f’d in the a if those are the girls that are supposed to engineer our robot overlords of tomorrow. You could almost see a panty in one scene there, did you guys get that?

  6. Bacalao Says:

HEY! YOU CAN ROLL THE TOILET PAPER BACK UP AT THE END! Woooo!

  7. glendoor42 Says:

Where the hell were those kind of girls when I was that age. Well, they were at home because they couldn’t drive.

Same place I was when I was I was that age. Except that my friends and I were doing infinitely more important thing than singing silly songs.

Stuff like hyperventaliting the grabbing the person who hyperventilated by both jugular veins and watching them pass out cold and hit the floor. Or even more important that, playing D&D( for you young people out there that game was like Wow but played with dice and paper, no video, I know primitive)and laughing hysterically when ever someone mentioned ” Asmodeus’s ROD OF LORDLY MIGHT. And lying about what we would do if those girls happened to magically appear in our midst. They never did though.

PS I ‘m glad that toilet paper was placed correctly. Coming from over the top, not the bottom. Communists, child molesters and idiots roll it from the bottom.

  8. Beppo Says:

“We’re sorry, but this video has been removed.”

Stupid YouTube shitheels. The worst thing is that they’re not fucking sorry. They’re not fucking sorry one goddamned bit.

  9. Ross Wolinsky Says:

    It’s back!

(and I’m going to hell for re-uploading it)

  10. Andy Pants Says:

Id bang the one on the left if she didn’t seem like the sort of girl who’d cut off a piece of your hair whilst you were sleeping and tape it to a shrine of you in her closet surrounded by polaroids of you in the shower and shopping for mandarins at the supermarket.

(And may I say Good-evening to the various government authorites who may now be reading).

  11. Andy Pants Says:

I don’t mean to be to kind to the poor girl. (As a performance like that is without doubt unforgiveable). But I really get the sense that her fat friend roped her into this.

  12. Diaz Says:

Awesome. I’ve now officially seen all of the internet. Toilet paper roll simulator and a song about new year’s. Thanks Ross!

  13. Justin Says:

Andy Pants - Somehow, you make a pretty good case for total government monitoring of the internet. I have to rethink my libertarian leanings now…

  14. LoganB Says:

Not sure if the video was actually unavailable. If you let the browser sit the video becomes unavailable. Refreshing fixes this. Also that was the best internet toilet paper simulator ever. I would have liked if

    *SPOILERS*
They showed the roll instead of it dissapearing
    *END*

Maybe someone can update it. You could chose the type and color of paper and roll.

  15. Brandon Says:

    Wow.

I read a book new years eve and went to bed at 9:30. Somehow i dont feel so bad about it anymore.
