ReplySeriously, this dude is f*****g hilarious in his own way. This one wasn't all that great, but he has some that I honestly find funnier than most Cracked articles. Everybody has a different sense of humor. Get over it. Also, did anyone notice that the character switched in-between panels 1 and 2? Just thought I'd point that out.

ReplyI vowed never to click on these but it's an extra slow day. This one is somewhat better than some of the others I've seen. Perhaps it's the better development or the additional dialog?
ReplyThat was only mildly humorous. Like a Bazooka Joe comic, except with down syndrome. However, I think the biggest problem here is taking any shot what-so-ever at "gaming". The demographic here is about 80% gamer nerds and you just offended all of them with this not-funny jab at their favorite pastime.

ReplyBasic Instructions is precisely 1/8 as funny as a Carlo Mencia knock-knock joke, and exactly 11.2 times more depressing. Every time a Basic Instructions is posted on Cracked, the worlds collective sense of humor shrivels a quarter of and inch and sprouts a small, blackened, rice-sized malignant tumor.

Adaptive AIs are still not learning AIs. You don't teach adaptive AIs anything, they just switch between different behaviour patterns depending on your actions. Those patterns are still static, though.
ReplyJust saying. Still one of the better volumes of basic Instructions, most of them suck, this one gave me at least a chuckle. Then again, I am a gamer.

i think people who dont like this web comic simply dont like web comics. its not supposed to be a laugh riot at every sentence, its supposed to be a chuckle, then you read the next comic and chuckle, and so on.
Replybesides, who the hell am i to hate anyways? im just some dude visiting cracked between porno sites and netflix. ive never published anything in my damn life, i have no idea what kind of discipline it takes to write and illustrate a web comic week after week after week.
