How to Seize an Oppurtunity [COMIC]
When your boss says stuff like, "You gotta strike while the iron's hot ..." it turns out that it's only partially because he hates you.

Basic Instructions is a twice weekly updating web comic that offers absurd advice on how to live your life. Some of those updates will be happening here on Cracked.
Find out How to Decide Whether to Tell The Painful Truth and How to Explain Men's Emotions with a Useful Analogy.

This is by far the best Basic Instructions on Cracked so far, and it's still not funny.
ReplyAmen

ReplyI'm glad to see BI on cracked but this is like low-mid tier on the basic instructions funny tier list.

ReplyAccurate social commentary? Sure. Clever? Perhaps. Funny? Not at f**king all.
ReplyGo to the author's site. This is actually one of the least funny Basic Instructions strips I've seen. Many of 'em are gold.
I have to be honest - most of the comics on Cracked really suck. Really. Veins-popping-out, slurping noises, the whole bit - suckage.
ReplyThat said, Basic Instructions is my new favorite comic. I've got the Android phone app and everything. I want to get implanted with a uterus so I can have the author's baby. Srsly.
I see Hall, where's Oats?
Replyman,Stone-Cold Steve Austin sure is cynical these days...
ReplyI thought this was one was pretty decent.

ReplyI thought this was quite a good comic, and very well put together- the flow is quite good. No, it's not "laugh out loud" funny, but it is still amusing. I wonder if the reason so many of my fellow commentors dislike it is because the format isn't "setup | setup | punchline" like so many of the webcomics out there; I enjoyed that there was humour in each of the individual panels, proceeding through the story.
ReplyThat's what's so brilliant about it. It's like four 1-panel comics per episode. Even if one joke fails, it's still got 3 more shots at making one stick.
"What's the opposite of responsible?"
ReplyVery clever.
