No Child Should Be Given That Much Power

Long-time forum member Ben Driscoll has been sharing his webcomic Daisy Owl in the forum since July. After only a handful of frames we were fairly certain of a few things: it was about a little girl being raised by an owl, and it was one of our favorite comics on the internet. Since then he's been regularly updating the strip on his website DaisyOwl.com, and we've become officially hooked. In case you've managed to stay away, here's another one of our favorites.

It only gets stranger from there at DaisyOwl.com.

Thank you Jesus, I hope this means no more white ninja. I'm sorry, but it was just painful. Daisy Owl is infinitly better.

This is a powerful comic. I laughed so hard I became ill. I am still ill, very ill. I probably will never recover my health. All thanks to this superbly crafter comic. I understand the author received the Nobel Peace Prize for this, a well-deserved honor.

relax everyone, comics are simple and not super-funny to begin with. this one is all about timing. whatever, it's okay.

I do find it somewhat amusing, the idea that a spoilt milk carton is as dangerous as a nuclear bomb to children is somewhat funny (to me)

it's not funny because it has an obscure quote.
the joke is these kids treating something as silly as spoiled milk as seriously as a nuclear bomb.
plus there are no launch codes to throw a milk carton so theres another layer of silliness
you guys are humorless dicks

Are you trying to look for some deep meaning or underlying social commentary? It doesn't have to be complicated to be funny. It can be innocent and silly.

Go back to 4chan.

I don't get it.

Is finding spoilt milk somehow the same as creating the nuclear bomb? Is this another of those strips for the retards who think that any semi-obscure quote is hilarious?

damnit cracked you post something like this and i end up wasting 3 hours reading every comic on daisyowl.com.

"Well I didn't laugh, but I wasn't pissed off like after reading white ninja"

Same here. I still think Cracked is playing a joke on everyone though and they're gonna reveal these crappy comics as a huge ruse, and everyone will have been fooled.. except me.. I'm on to you Cracked..

Something doesn't have to be brilliant to be amusing. I happen to like this one.

Guys, referencing a quote from the Oppenheimer is all this thing has. It's not funny unless you think recognizing a quote is, by itself, the basis for a humorous reaction.
