The Worst Rest Stop Ever

article image

Ben Driscoll is a member of the Cracked forum. Not long ago he started a thread asking for feedback on his webcomic. A bunch of people on the forum told him it was good, and he managed to resist the urge to say, "Yeah, no shit it's good!" though that's totally what we'd have said if it was our awesome webcomic. Ben regularly updates the strip on his website DaisyOwl.com, and sometimes he lets us put one on Cracked.

It only gets stranger from there at DaisyOwl.com.

I just looked at the Daisy Owl website; why are the putting the least funny of the bunch on Cracked? Wouldn't it make more sense to put the best specimens on Cracked?

I want to see some Head Trip, that's a recipe for laughter in my opinion.

Just read the rest of Daisy Owl off the site and it's pretty damn decent. I agree C & H is overrated, the only writer that consistently makes me laugh is Rob D. Still, cracked needs to start posting David Wong's Adventures of John and Dave, THAT'S the best web comic I've read. EVER.

Oh, my god. Will you people please get off of C&H's dick? That comic is quite possibly the most overrated thing on the entire internet. That's right, more overrated than LOLCats.

I like it! Hahahahaaaaa!

@Michael - they're human because the owl adopted them.

I read over 90 daily comics each day, and this is one of the few that actually makes me laugh almost every time. I absolutely love it. The comments after each posting of the comic are often just as entertaining as the comic itself. Thank you for introducing me to this comic, cracked! There are very few comics out there that are actually good and funny, and this is one of the few.

Odd, why are the children human?

Posted on 10/1/2008 2:25:54 AM

I think im missing somthing, this is S*it!

Posted on 10/1/2008 1:31:06 AM

Yeah white ninja blows. This was definitely better but its still kinda lame. Hopefully cracked will start featuring Cyanide and Happiness

Posted on 10/1/2008 1:05:37 AM

That was a bit weird... i like weird.

Posted on 9/30/2008 10:40:12 PM

God that was funny. It beat the crap out of White Ninja!

Posted on 9/30/2008 10:23:01 PM

"Yay actual comedy on a comedy site!"

Fix'd

Posted on 9/30/2008 7:32:25 PM

Me thinks Dr Dank has hit the nail on the head!

Posted on 9/30/2008 6:44:16 PM

Man, you have to admit, that was good. Which I have not said about the White Ninja. Rule of Comedy: Set up expectations, then subvert them, reap the laughter.

Posted on 9/30/2008 6:38:50 PM

Ahahaha this was brilliant!
Yay actual comedy in a web comic!

Posted on 9/30/2008 6:17:22 PM

wow this was so refreshing compared to white ninja. actually depth and comedy intelligence is refreshing.

Posted on 9/30/2008 6:05:49 PM

PERMANENTLY REPLACE WHIT NINJA!!!

very funny

Posted on 9/30/2008 4:16:47 PM

Im beginning to think the problem lies with Cracked? They post the shittiest of the usually only 90% s**t White Ninja Comics, now they post one of the unfunniest Owl comics...

Posted on 9/30/2008 4:15:01 PM

I just figured it out: Cracked started running White Ninja to get us accustomed to a webcomic so s****y, so lazy, uninspired, humorless and forgettable, that after a few weeks of that anything else they showed us would look like pure comedy genius. They could put up a picture of the London subway bombings and it would get more laughs than White Ninja.

Posted on 9/30/2008 3:46:00 PM

this is much better than white ninja
