200 Comics In Under 12 Hours

Every Saturday we ask some of the funniest people on the web to fill in for us. Our readers get to learn about an awesome site, and we get to finish giving our dog full-body cornrows. Today's guest column is from the cartoonist Nedroid, creator of one of our favorite comics on the web. He's also been known to lend his talents to Cracked articles when something awesome enough needs doing (say, we need to convey that George Washington is punching a cherry tree in half).

One day not long ago, someone challenged Nedroid to draw 200 three panel comics as fast as he could. Nedroid couldn't say no, due to a rare neurological disorder that prevents him from forming the word. The results were 600 panels of inspired, free association comedy, created in a few days (hey, we didn't say it was 12 hours in a row).

12 hours include thinking time too, ya douche. You can't make 200 good comics with only 12 hours. As for the art, this is a high tier of stickman we're looking at here.

I would just like to point out that Shaynn is a colossal dick. Dude, if you don't like it, go somewhere else and suck the cock of another artist whom you find funnier. The constant bitching around here gets really tiresome.

200 comics are easy to write in under 12 hours if the bar is set this low. congratulations. i could make 200 cheese sandwiches in under 12 hours too, the difference being that Cracked wouldn't feel the need to publish it. i'm kind of disappointed.

Great synopsis SimonSaysDie. It pretty much sums it up.

Hilarious stuff. I hope this becomes a recurring feature.

These are so funny I slammed myself against the glass cupboard behind me several times and almost made my athma worse!! Have any of you ever read Tom The Dancing Bug by Ruben Bolling? His Super-Fun-Pax Comics edition are very similar to these, only more complex.

Beautiful. Just beautiful. Kind of in the same category of humor as 'Garfield minus Garfield.'

These are really brilliant, but they lose their edge around 120-140. It became evident he was running out of ideas. Not to say that it started turning out terrible, just the first 100 or so were much better.

It takes a committee to write fucking Garfield, and he isn't even a hundredth as funny as this.

Better than any Sunday comic section I've seen in ten years. Maybe twenty. Well done! Go sleep with my wife as a reward. (we're divorced, so don't tell the boyfriend).

So good...20, 21, 47 are my favorites. You should see if Tallhub.com is looking for an artist, I hear it's a great organization.
